The Last Words before the Torch is passed on

MONEY HONEY

Who were we?

We had a dream. To make people's hands clean, and to make some money, and after a year of fun and fierce competition we, Uriel Cachero and Gian Paolo Sepulveda, achieved our dream. We were Money Honey, and the world was our oyster. We were an unstoppable force of money-making honey-lovers. And thus Money Honey was born, and after a year, its legacy was our pride and joy. Everyday was an adventure, and we are both happy that we chose this elective.

What do you want to do for your last year?

RAPD is an elective for the ambitious and hard-working. You can get a high grade if you love what you do. You don't need to give it everything, just don't prioritize it last. But we don't think anyone would do that, because you can never get bored when you're in this elective. You can grow a lot and feel more comfortable with the people around you, because in the world of business, if you can't compete, you'll get eaten alive. You can also apply a bit of Econ here. If you want an exciting but not effortless elective, RAPD is the thing for you.

First-day jitters

They say that it's like having two STRs, but as Ma'am Bick says, she doesn't want to torture us, she wants an insightful journey towards money-making science. It may sound intimidating, but the experiences that you'll have with each other is truly heart warming.

Our Project

Production of a Honey-Based Hand Sanitizer We've had to fight our way with this one. The stickiness was just frustrating. But we got through. It's all about the marketing skills. Make your weakness the reason for your strength. IT'S ALL NATURAL THAT'S WHY IT'S STICKY! See? That's all it takes. Good marketing = Sales. It would also be beneficial if you had a fan who will endorse you product. THANKS GEO THIS ONE'S FOR YOU! <3

Most Memorable Times

Every memory was memorable, but most especially the lab times. We got the chance to bond as a group who had the chance to be carefree in the most stressful room in the school. Vain pics and vain videos for project making have got to be the best things ever. Our outing was also super fun.

To whom it may concern

Join RAPD, you won't be disappointed. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you have the chance to be part of something great. GOOD LUCK with your life and we hope you join as the third batch! :D

Sweet Julienne's Farewell

Why "Sweet Julienne"?
The two members of this team are Sweet Hazel Aquino and Julienne Hannelore Borja. It is obvious where the team name was taken from. This is so the people would easily determine the manufacturers. Some people suggested "Sweet Hannelore" but that is against parallelism. Others asked, "Why not Julienne Sweet?" Well, Julienne is such a humble person that she wants her partner's name to be mentioned first. For example, in SM, Sy goes before Mollie, his wife. Johnson's and Johnson's is named "Johnson's and Johnson's" but no one ever asked why. Why not "Johnson's * 2?" or "Johnson's to the 2nd power"?
Why Choose RAPD?
It was exciting to think of making a product and selling them to your schoolmates and the staff. It makes you understand Economics more easily too. You get to experience being a consumer and a producer at the same time. If you think you have the skill, you might be as rich as or richer than Henry Sy in the future. When you turn into an adult and couldn't find a job, with your experience in RAPD, you can start on a business and stop worrying about your daily expenses. You get to appreciate and apply to your life the previous studies done by Pisay students.
Impressions
RAPD seemed like a difficult subject since it is very time consuming. It's as if you have two STRs  and therefore two causes of stress. But the good grades and fun memories paid it off. The start of every quarter are the most stress-free. You "just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show." Ma'am Bick is very good at asking questions and we always get amazed *drools* I wish I could be like that part of her.
Project: The Use of Limonene from Orange Peels for the Production of Insect-Repelling Air Freshener
It was challenging to make an air freshener since we had to think of substitutes for the ingredients used in commercially-available ones because they are toxic and dangerous to the users' health. Using the Soxhlet apparatus and cleaning the glasswares were so fun! The peels were free since they're considered trash. With our project, we were able to reuse wastes instead of just throwing them in a pit.
Traits
Being able to love our product and our customers.
Innovative.
Creative.
EXP
RAPD experience was one of the best experiences. Skills such as managing time wisely, being crafty and keen, working as a team, and so many more were developed in us. It's like a tandem with Econ. It develops you to be competent, to adapt to your environment, and to be a wise citizen.
Most memorable memories
STR Lab is witness to almost all of the confessions of every student. In the lab, you can sing and listen to music on your own and no one will mock you for liking 1D or Justin Bieber. If you're RAPD, you can have the lab and apparatuses all by yourself. It's as if you're already a scientist. At the end of the year, you will earn money. Yey!
Message
We recommend the juniors to choose the topic they like best. RAPD is fun but you have to be prepared for all the wisdom, knowledge, and skills that you will receive. The skills you acquire in this elective will always stay in your heart.
