We Come to an End

Bang! Brothers

We are Jadee Manaid and Stefannie Manucom, the Bang! Brothers, and we had a lot of fun. We had lots of dreams and although not all of them became a reality, we achieved a lot anyway. We had a goal to come up with a unique lip balm and we did. Through our RAPD journey, we learned a lot of things and some through failure. Thus, we grew. And like our monicker, we hope to finish this elective with a bang!

RAPD All the Way

RAPD is what an elective should be- educational, challenging, but most of all, fun. It is the brighter side of STR but like STR, it requires work. However, with the right people and a clear goal in mind, you'd have fun while working! And this work will not only be useful now, it provides you entrepreneurial experience you might use in the future.

Impressions

An STR elective might sound scary at first. Work can seem very scary at first. We had doubts on joining RAPD but then Ma'am a really good orientation on the elective. We surely got lured into this through that orientation. The orientation painted the elective as very fun and rewarding although maybe a bit work-intensive. And it was!
Also, who would've thought we would end up partners? Because of RAPD, we each gained a friend and some more. The RAPD elective is surprisingly relatively close-knit because the elective provided us with so many fun bonding times.

Lip Bang!

Our lip balm aimed to provide Filipinos a solution to lip-biting night insects that uses d-Limonene, a naturally-occurring and organic compound, as an active ingredient. Although our project was questioned, put down (a bit) and was met with disbelief, we still firmly believe in what we stand for and would continue to strive for product excellence which is most important.

Requirements

-willingness to work!
-willingness to sell!
-willingness to have fun!

What We'll Remember

We'll remember trying to sell our lip balm. We'll remember what we did to make our lip balm. We'll remember the stove, the glassware, the many times we had to ask Sir Jomar for help, the work. But most of all, we'll remember the fun times we had with one another in this elective.
